The ASRock B650M PG Lightning features the B650 chipset for AMDs It is equipped with Ryzen 7000 processors and offers numerous features for enthusiasts and gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and the expanded power delivery, the 600 series motherboards use Socket AM5 (LGA 1718).

Despite the higher pin count on AM5, the actual size of the socket remains the same as the older generation, allowing most CPU coolers for Socket AM4 to be mounted on the motherboard.

The motherboard is geared towards gaming, so you can enjoy even demanding games. The voltage converters with 4 real and 8 virtual phases provide 50 A of stable power to the CPU, ensuring its high clock speeds even over extended periods. Features like BIOS Flashback allow you to use the PC again if something goes wrong. And, as usual, the DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to its limits at higher clock speeds.
