The noble Mini-ITX case comes with a clever dual-chamber design and therefore offers plenty of space for powerful gaming systems. The VR3 from Jonsbo proves that powerful hardware and a compact housing format do not have to be mutually exclusive. The noble manufacturer even packs this in a chic design made of white steel. Front and side panels are completely crisscrossed with air holes to ensure optimal airflow for your components.
Externally, Jonsbos VR3 impresses with its elegant brushed steel design and flawless workmanship. The simple design is only interrupted by a power button, a USB 3.0 type A port and a USB type C port in the front.
Plenty of space for drives in a compact enclosure
With its compact dimensions, the VR3 from Jonsbo looks small, but inside you can accommodate full-blown gaming hardware. Due to the space-saving and clever two-chamber design, the case can accommodate a Mini-ITX motherboard as well as a graphics card with a length of up to 325 mm. The graphics card is mounted vertically on the back of the motherboard tray, visually impressive. For this purpose, a suitable riser cable (PCIe 4.0) is included in the scope of delivery. Up to two 2.5- and 3.5-inch drives can also be accommodated in the VR3. If you install two 3.5-inch drives, the graphics card may be up to 185 mm long.
In addition to saving space, the concept of two separate chambers also brings advantages in cooling the components. In total, up to two 120mm fans or two 140mm fans can be installed in the case. In combination with the generous air passages that extend over the entire housing wall, excellent airflow is thus ensured. Alternatively, a 280mm radiator for water cooling can be installed on the front.
The Jonsbo VR3 is flexible when it comes to power supply. For particularly power-hungry gaming systems, a full-blown ATX power supply can be installed here. If you prefer a smaller standard, you can alternatively mount an SFX power supply or SFX-L power supply.
