ASRock B650 Pro RS: ATX motherboard with AMD AM5
The picture shows the ASRock B650 Pro RS motherboard. The ASRock B650 Pro RS is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMDs Ryzen 7000 series processors and has numerous features for gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to the support of PCIe 5.0 and the expanded power supply, the Socket AM5 (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards.

Despite the increased number of pins, the actual size of the socket remains identical to older sockets, so that most CPU coolers for socket AM4 can be mounted on the mainboard.
