The ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO LEAKSHIELD expansion tank in detail
A reservoir that protects your system. Thanks to its negative pressure, the ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO with LEAKSHIELD ensures that no liquid from your water cooling system drips onto your hardware. In addition, it continuously monitors the water circuit for minimal leaks – it can do so before you put the water cooling system into operation.
Thanks to LEAKSHIELD, the ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO expansion tank also helps you to fill your system with water as soon as you connect a suction line or to monitor the level of the expansion tank.
A powerful pump for sophisticated custom water cooling systems
The aqua computer ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO LEAKSHIELD stands out from acrylic glass users made of borosilicate glass. Because it is harder and particularly scratch-resistant. In addition, it has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and expands very little when heated.
The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm. A filter made of a stainless steel wire mesh is integrated in the base of the expansion tank. The filter retains particles and eliminates interfering air bubbles. The filter element is easily removable and can be cleaned under running water.
Both the lid and the base of the ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO are made of resistant acetal and are screwed to the aluminum rings and the tube. Both ends of the glass tube are firmly bonded with metal rings made of black anodized aluminum. You do not come into contact with the cooling medium! This construction makes it possible to dispense with internal struts or additional pipes.
The function of the LEAKSHIELD
What does LEAKSHIELD do? It creates a vacuum throughout the cooling system. That is, as soon as a spot is leaking, no coolant escapes. Instead, air is sucked into the system there. To ensure that there is a vacuum at every point in the circuit, you need to adjust the vacuum depending on your coolant pump.
Any incoming air is pumped out of the system via the integrated vacuum pump of the LEAKSTOR and the negative pressure is maintained. Only in the case of very large leaks, such as a completely torn off hose, can coolant leakage occur.
Strong performance with the D5-Next pump
An aqua computer D5 NEXT pump is mounted directly at the bottom of the expansion tank. The pump has an OLED display and numerous control and adjustment functions. The pump is attached to the bottom of the expansion tank via an aluminum ring.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS OF THE D5 NEXT PUMP AT A GLANCE:
– Ceramic mounted ball motor for optimum smoothness and durability
– Integrated RGBpx lighting for lighting effects and error signaling
– Integrated water temperature sensor
– The OLED display can be operated without ANY PC software
– PWM fan output with up to 25 watts of power and speed monitoring
– RGBpx LED output for up to 90 addressable LEDs
– Alarm buzzer for acoustic alarm signaling
– aquasuite software for convenient setting, evaluation and visualization of all sensor data

The scope of delivery includes digitally addressable RGB LED lighting in the form of an LED ring with 13 RGB LEDs. The RGBpx ring can be easily pushed over the container and illuminates the expansion tank and coolant. The silicone production refracts the LED light diffusely and minimizes unsightly LED spots. The RGBpx ring has one input and one output, which means that several LED rings can also be combined to form a chain.
Note: The expansion tank is supplied without connections! They must be purchased separately.
