The classic top-flow cooler therefore trumps with six 6-mm-thick heatpipes and, despite its extremely low height of only 82 mm, is suitable even for small HTPC housings and cools the CPU completely silently according to the design, the included 120 or Even a second optional 120mm fan. The active cooling also promotes removal of the heat from the lamellae in the lower region of the cooler, so that the heat can be efficiently removed.
The copper contact surface absorbs the heat from the processor and delivers most of it directly to the six heatpipes. The residual heat is transferred further upwards to the fine aluminum lamellae in the large cooling area, which then provide for the mammoth portion of the cooling by the (optional) 120 mm fan in the housing.
