In addition to high-quality and specially adapted water coolers and a wide range of water cooling components such as pumps and reservoirs, EK Water Blocks also offers very well-made and practical accessories for cooling solutions in general.
Like the distribution cable presented here for three fans with a 4-pin PWM connection (or 3-pin without PWM), which can be operated with just one connection on the mainboard or a fan controller. The cable with its 4-pin PWM plug can be connected to a 4-pin PWM connector as well as to a classic 3-pin header. When connected to a PWM port on the mainboard, up to three PWM fans are then controlled synchronously and automatically by the mainboard.
The speedometer signal is only transmitted to the motherboard by one of the three connectable fans. The total length of the 3-way PWM splitter from EK Water Blocks is around 10 cm, the cable strands are sleeved in black, which is pleasing to the eye and enables unobtrusive cable routing in the housing.
Note: EK Water Blocks does not recommend combining three fans with particularly high power requirements, as most 4-pin headers on motherboards can typically deliver around 10W.
