The ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex is an ATX motherboard with the high-end Intel Z890 chipset and the LGA 1851 socket. It supports second-generation Intel Core Ultra processors, codenamed Arrow Lake. The Intel Z890 motherboard natively supports USB 4, which offers data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps. Furthermore, the ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex boasts full PCIe 5.0 connectivity, giving you twice the bandwidth for graphics cards and NVMe SSDs compared to PCIe 4.0.
