The SoC motherboard (system-on-a-chip) handles everyday applications with its quad-core processor with a clock rate of 1.5 GHz, which can be set to max. 2.3 GHz can be increased rapidly. The ASRock J3455-M motherboard is also available in a micro ATX format. Two memory slots (dual-channel) support DDR3 modules or energy-saving DDR3L RAM at a clock frequency of up to 1.833 MHz and can be used with a total capacity of up to 16 GB.
The HD-Graphics 500 supports DirectX 12 and, thanks to the advanced video unit, allows the playback of video in 4K / Ultra-HD resolutions and H.265 format. The clock rate of a maximum of 700 MHz does not allow you to play the latest gaming titles for 12 Execution Units, but for many Browsergames and older games this is more than sufficient. The DVI-D Dual Link (max. 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz) and D-Sub / VGA (max. 2048 x 1536) are available as video outputs with HDMI (maximum 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz or 2560 x 1600 @ @ 60 Hz) three connections are available.
