The ASRock B550 PG Riptide features in detail:
The B550 chipset is the heart of the ASRock B550 PG Riptide motherboard and has been specifically optimized for Ryzen 3000 series (Matisse) CPUs. The motherboards also support up to 128 GB of RAM with a guaranteed clock speed of 3,200 MHz. Depending on the motherboard, significantly higher clock speeds are possible through overclocking. The B550 chipset also allows for processor overclocking.

The ASRock B550 PG Riptide is an ATX motherboard and features a PCI Express 4.0 slot with full x16 connectivity for graphics cards. For additional expansion cards, the motherboard provides two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. The four RAM banks support up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM with a clock speed of up to 3,200 MHz and can even handle clock speeds of up to 4,933 MHz when overclocked.

The AM4 motherboard also provides two M.2 slots. The first M.2 slot supports PCIe 4.0, is connected via four PCI Express lanes, and accommodates expansion cards between 42 mm and 80 mm (2242 / 2260 / 2280). A second M.2 slot supports PCIe 3.0 with quad-bay connections and is also connected via the SATA 6G protocol. It accommodates M.2 expansion cards between 60 and 110 mm (2260 / 2280 / 22110).

Modern Connectors and RGB LED Lighting
The ASRock B550 PG Riptide features two USB 3.1 ports (Type A / Type C), six USB 3.0 ports with Type A female connectors, and two USB 2.0 ports (Type A) on the I/O panel. An HDMI port is available for CPUs with integrated graphics.

This B550 motherboard also offers features such as a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port (Killer E3100G), on-board sound (Realtek ALC897 audio codec), reinforced PCIe slots, and numerous internal headers. Also included are overclocking features, an optimized power supply, diagnostic LEDs, and a power and reset button.

A special feature of the ASRock B550 PG Riptide is the RGB lighting, which can be synchronized with other RGB components using the manufacturers software. The motherboard features two 4-pin RGB headers for this purpose. Furthermore, there are seven connectors for fans and pumps.
