The SilverStone SST-SF160B-ARGB PWM fan: powerful with ARGB lighting
With the SST-SF160B-ARGB, SilverStone offers you an efficient 160 mm fan. The fan has a hydraulic bearing and achieves maximum speeds of 1,600 rpm. The maximum noise emission is 38.1 dB(A). The specially designed Shark Force fans are designed to minimize air turbulence and ensure particularly quiet operation with maximum efficiency.
The SF160-ARGB fan has dimensions of 160 x 25 x 160 mm, which SilverStone designed and engineered with the intention of upgrading applications originally designed for 140 mm fans by expanding the overall structure of the case and blades. This allows the fan to provide a larger cooling surface to the internal system while generating a higher airflow and higher static pressure.
Although the width and depth are 160 mm, the fan mounts are designed for 140 mm mounts and thus easily fit into any case with 140 mm fan mounts as long as there is enough space on the side for the protruding 20 mm.
Furthermore, the SST-SF160B-ARGB generates a static pressure of up to 2.21 mmH2O. Due to its remarkable performance, it is suitable for use as a case fan as well as a radiator fan.
The SST-SF160B-ARGB receives the PWM signal via a 4-pin on the mainboard. A 3-pin connector is available for connecting the addressable RGB lighting to a compatible mainboard or controller. When used with ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Lights and ASRock Polychrome, the fan can be given different colors and effects. If desired, the 3-pin connector can also be removed and the RGB lighting switched off.
