The NH-U12S TR4-SP3 is a 12 cm single-tower CPU cooler from Noctuas classic U series, which has received more than 400 awards and recommendations from international specialist publications. The 45mm slim design of the S-version not only guarantees 100% compatibility with high RAM modules, but also allows a further optimized design in conjunction with the fully automatic PWM-controllable NF-F12 FocusedFlow fan at the same time a further improved Silent cooling performance compared to the previous version.
The all-round high-quality complete package is completed by the tried and tested SecuFirm2 mounting system, Nocturs renowned NT-H1 thermal compound and 6 years manufacturing guarantee. Its excellent cooling performance, excellent running stability and excellent compatibility make the NH-U12S TR4-SP3 a premium solution for the highest demands.
With an overall height of 158 mm, the NH-U12S TR4-SP3 is compact enough to easily fit into most modern tower housings. Due to the width of 125 mm (including fans and fan clamps), the cooler does not stick over the uppermost PCIe slot on normal ATX or Micro-ATX motherboards, so the best compatibility with SLI and CrossFire systems is guaranteed.
Known for over 150 hardware publications and thousands of enthusiasts, the NF-F12 FocusedFlow fan is known for its combination of excellent static pressure, excellent cooler performance and amazing running stability. It supports PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the mainboard. Furthermore, the low-noise adapter can be used to reduce the maximum speed from 1,500 rpm to 1,200 rpm to allow even quieter operation.
The L.N.A. (Low-Noise Adapter) reduces the speed to 1,200 RPM, reducing the volume to 18.6 dB (A). The NH-U12S TR4-SP3 is delivered with special fan clamps and an additional set of anti-vibration pads for users who wish to achieve even better performance with a second NF-F12 fan in push / pull mode. These allow the rear fan to be lowered by 5mm and thus achieve better acoustics in double fan operation.
Noctuas SecuFirm2 Montagesysteme has become synonymous with quality, reliability and ease of use. The NH-U12S TR4-SP3 is a dedicated version for the AMD socket TR4 and SP3, which is particularly easy to install. Just install the radiator, tighten the four spring bolts and youre done! Due to an enlarged and tailor-made contact area, this cooler can not be used on other sockets and is not compatible with Noctuas standard mounting system.
