Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan - 40mm

Due to the 5V specification, it is not suitable for operation on mainboard headers. Thanks to a 4-pin PWM connector, the fan speed can be regulated and is between 1,000 and 5,000 revolutions per minute. The fan runs pleasantly quietly at a maximum of 19.6 dB(A) and still offers an air flow of up to 8.9 m³/h and a static pressure of 1.95 mmH2O.

The Noctua NF-A4X10 5V PWM in detail
Thanks to the USB adapter, the 5V fan can be operated on USB power supplies and power banks for smartphones. With the OmniJoin adapter set and the integrated reverse polarity protection, it is also possible to safely install the fan in many devices with proprietary fan connections such as 3D printers, digital video recorders or network and storage solutions.

The impeller of the NF-A4X10 5V PWM is equipped with so-called flow acceleration channels on the suction side. By accelerating the airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades, suction-side vortex shedding is reduced, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emissions.

Noctuas AAO (Advandced Acoustic Optimization) frames feature integrated vibration buffers as well as a stepped inlet design and an inner surface microstructures that enable even better performance/noise efficiency.

The anti-vibration pads made of extra-soft silicone reduce the transmission of minimal vibrations and are at the same time compatible with all standard screws as well as commercially available mounting systems or fan clips used in CPU coolers. The fan is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctuas proven SSO bearing system. With SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, providing even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.
