Koolance MB-ASR4E (ASUS Rampage IV Extreme)

On this motherboard the North Bridge as well as voltage regulator modules are cooled by one single heatpipe. This heat pipe works only in combination with very large CPU coolers air. When cooling your CPU with a waterblock, the essential air flow for cooling of the heat pipe is sufficient missing.

Hence we strongly recommend both cooling as well as the chipset mosfets with water bocks as well. This will allow safe and stable operation even with heavy overclocking and during summer!

Especially when already using a water cooling system, this is the perfect addition to your system
