The Gigabyte H410M H Micro-ATX motherboard has a PCIe-x16 slot that is connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. The board also has two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for plug-in and expansion cards.

The M.2 slot connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes supports the NVMe protocol and, in combination with corresponding M.2 SSDs, enables a data transfer rate of just under 4 GB / s. This is about eight times faster than an SSD connected via SATA 6G! Additional drives such as SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected via four SATA 3.0 ports.
