The GIGABYTE B650M Aorus Elite AX ICE is equipped with Equipped with the B650 chipset for AMDs Ryzen 7000 series processors, it offers numerous features for overclockers and gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to PCIe 5.0 support and the expanded power delivery, the 600 series motherboards use Socket AM5 (LGA 1718). Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains identical to older sockets, allowing most CPU coolers for Socket AM4 to be installed on the motherboard.

The motherboard is designed for overclocking so you can enjoy even demanding games. The voltage converters with 14 real and 8 virtual phases provide 60 A of stable power to the CPU, ensuring its high clock speeds even over extended periods. Features like BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS ensure you can use the PC again if something goes wrong. And, as usual, the DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to its limits at higher clock speeds.
