The ASRock B650 Steel Legend WIFI is equipped with the The B650 chipset is equipped for AMDs Ryzen 7000 processors and offers numerous features for enthusiasts and gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and the expanded power supply, the 600 series motherboards use the AM5 (LGA 1718) socket. The 20 Gbps data transfer rate via the USB 3.2 Type-C port is also extremely useful for fast data transfers between the PC and portable SSDs.

Despite the higher pin count in AM5, the actual size of the socket remains the same as the older generation, allowing most CPU coolers for Socket AM4 to be installed on the motherboard.

The motherboard is designed for overclocking, so you can enjoy even demanding games. The voltage converters with 16 virtual phases provide 80 A of stable power to the CPU, ensuring its high clock speeds even over extended periods. There are also features like BIOS Flashback, so you can use the PC again if something goes wrong. And, as usual, the DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to its limits at higher clock speeds.
