The aquacomputer Dr. Drop compression tester at a glance:

– Value Dr. Drop Crush Tester
– Compression tester measures between 0 to 0.6 bar & is fully assembled
– A G1 / 4-inch female thread for connection to the water cooling
– With optional air pump can generate a test pressure
– Functioning and purpose of Dr. Drop

Many will be wondering how such a review for leaks looks with Dr. Drop. The answer is surprisingly simple. After the completion of water cooling the Dr. drop can tester be connected to the circuit. This is done via the existing G1 / 4 inch internal thread, which as with the right connections can be mounted on an adapter tube or reservoir. The system can be set with an optional pump under pressure. Aqua computer recommends here first 550 mbar, which should be regulated at 500 mbar after unscrewing the optional pump via the drain valve. After adjusting the test pressure, the system can be about 15 – to stand for 30 minutes. If there is no pressure drop observed, the cycle holds tight. However, if the pressure falls, you can walk on leak detection, for example, with a few drops of mineral spirits or similar fast evaporating liquids.

Incidentally, the pressure tester consists of a high-quality gauge of Wika, which are leaders in the manufacture of mechanical pressure gauges worldwide. It is supplemented by a CNC machined connecting terminal made of sturdy Delrin derived from aqua computer and is supplied preassembled with the manometer.
