Alphacool Carbon HardTube 13mm 4x 80cm

The majority of HardTubes are clear and transparent. Alphacool offers an interesting alternative to the common variants made of PETG or acrylic with the Carbon HardTube.

Material
The HardTubes are made of CFRP (carbon laminate). The smooth surface and the structure of the carbon laminate give every water cooling system a unique appearance.

Assembly
The HardTubes made of carbon (CFRP) cannot be bent. For the exact installation, the tubes must be sawed to the appropriate length. To do this, you should use a pit saw that is suitable for processing carbon (CFRP). To ensure straight cut edges, the use of a saw jig is advisable. When shortening the tubes, care should be taken to smooth the cut edges with a fine file or sandpaper, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings. Alphacools Eiszapfen HardTubes fittings of the appropriate size are suitable for connecting the tubes. After assembly, the tubes should be rinsed for cleaning. It is best to use distilled water for this purpose.

Note
When working on the carbon tubes (sawing & filing), it is important to wear protective equipment. The use of safety glasses, FFP2 mask and gloves is advisable here. In addition, work on the HardTubes should only be carried out in well-ventilated rooms or outdoors.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturers warranty as well.
