The world-class PWM fan is already familiar from the Venom CPU cooler, where it has already proven its superior performance and provides an optimal compromise between high cooling performance and low volume development.
Significantly responsible for this is the optimized shape of the fan blades. These are S-shaped curved, which according to the manufacturer compared to conventional fans 30 percent more air to be transported at the same speed. Conversely, this allows a reduction in the speed to reduce the noise at the same air flow.
Result of the effort is a minimum volume of virtually inaudible 6.9 dB (A) at 600 rpm. However, the fan can be accelerated up to 1,900 rpm via the PWM connection and a corresponding mainboard, transporting an enormous 141 m³ / h. This results in a high degree of flexibility, which allows the Black Viper to be used in silent to over-locking systems.
For an additional reduction of the noise, four rubber clips are included. These ensure a decoupling of the housing or cooler and thus prevent the vibration transmission.
