Alternative cover plate for 5.25-inch slim drives
By removing the cover plate and all four side parts, the Mini ITX motherboard is very easy to mount on a tray which is fixed in the middle and can also be removed. On the back of the tray, alternatively to a 3.5-inch HDD or two 2.5-inch SSDs / HDDs, this ODD drive cage can be attached to attach SlimLine optical slot-in drives. Further drives can be accommodated variably by means of universal brackets on the frame behind the mainboard tray, so that plenty of 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch data carriers can be installed. The drive cage can accommodate up to 12.7 millimeter high ODD drives. Thanks to a rubber ejection button, each placement of the eject button is supported.
A detailed manual helps with the assembly and ensures that all components reach the right place.
