The three M.2 slots allow the installation of up to 110 millimeter long M.2 SSDs. Thus, the adapter is compatible with almost all common M.2 SSD sizes. The 22110, 2280, 2260 or 2242 SSDs are plugged into the slots and screwed.
A 15-pin SATA socket is used to connect a SATA power cable, which is used to power the adapter and the built-in SSDs. The card uses the 3.5-inch form factor and can easily be accommodated in a hard drive cage or at a mounting location for 3.5 data carriers.
