The GD09 is another descendant of the Grandia series and not only stays true to the line, but with a height of just 17 cm and a depth of 35.8 cm it still allows ATX boards to be accommodated.
Completely redesigned to maximize the overall interior space, the Grandia GD09 can house up to five drives in total (depending on type) and with minimal sacrifices also state-of-the-art components (graphics cards up to 12 inches long).
Thanks to a multitude of lessons learned from building the most powerful tower cases in recent years, the SilverStone developers equip the GD09 with up to three 120mm fans. And to ensure owners can maintain the cooling performance of their cases with the lowest possible noise emissions over the long term, the case is surrounded by application-specific, removable filters to achieve a positive pressure that enables effective and quiet work.
To complement the design, the GD09 has a thick plastic front panel that has a brushed aluminium look. There is also an air vent on the ceiling, positioned just above the expansion cards.
The beautiful case has seven (plus one vertically usable) slots for expansion cards. Of course, there are also two modern USB 3.0 ports as front connections. In addition to the already installed 120 mm fan, the Grandia offers the option of installing two 80 mm fans on the back of the case and two additional 120 mm fans on the side of the case.
Three 3.5-inch drives and another four 2.5-inch drives can be installed inside, provided the 5.25-inch is not used. Multi-purpose brackets also replace the necessary adapters. The entire inner cage can be removed, simplified by two handles.
