Silverstone Nitrogon NT08-115X-V2 CPU Cooler, PWM - 92mm

The contact base is made of copper, the extruded fins of the heat sink made of aluminum. The necessary airflow on the Nitrogon cooler is provided by a 92 millimeter fan with pulse width modulation (PWM) control. The control range is 1200 to 3500 revolutions per minute. The Silverstone radiator therefore combines high power reserves in the compact class with quiet operation as possible.

The Silverstone Nitrogon NT08-115X (V2.0) is thus predestined for space-saving computer formats such as HTPCs and Mini-ITX housing: With its small dimensions of only 101 x 48 x 101 millimeters (width x height x depth) fits the Nitrogon in almost all cases and leaves room for the installation of other components. The classic top-blow design and the shape of the slats not only effectively cool the processor itself, but also ventilate the entire area around the processor socket, including the voltage converters and chips installed there. The NT08-115X (V2.0) is therefore also a good choice if the hardware combination used limits the possibilities for effective fan ventilation.

The cooler is designed for the Intel Socket 1156/1155/1150 and 1151. With a weight of only 365 grams incl. Fan base and mounting mechanism are hardly loaded. Thanks to the small dimensions and high compatibility of the attachment mechanism, assembly is easy even in tight housings.

Note: The operation is particularly suitable for HTPC systems or computers with economical processors (maximum 95 W TDP).
