Thermally conductive adhesives can be used in many different ways, but the main thing is that they should connect and hold components together. Care was taken to ensure that the adhesive not only solidifies after hardening, but also that the mostly used coolers remain in place in the event of sudden loads such as shear forces.
So that the adhesive does not harden in the tube, it is delivered in different components that are only mixed with each other shortly before use. This is a mixing ratio of 4, black liquid, to 1, yellowish-transparent liquid. The contents of the tubes have been measured in such a way that when you empty them both, they form exactly the ratio of 4 to 1!
A major problem for adhesive / coolant developers is that the adhesive acts like a kind of barrier to heat transfer. However, this is not the case with these two components: this problem has also been solved with almost one W / mK.
In addition to all these technical refinements, very practical things were also taken into account here: If only part of the content is required, then both tubes have closable lids to protect them from drying out. In order to create the thinnest possible film between the heat source and the cooler, spatulas are included in the scope of delivery for easy application. Plural? Of course, you dont need to laboriously clean the first spatula for another use.
