Phanteks Enthoo Elite: Big tower with three-chamber design

The interior of the Phanteks Enthoo Elite Big-Towers is divided into three areas: a main chamber, a lower chamber, and an area behind and below the mainboard tray. The latter offers space for cable management (35 mm), the vertical installation of an ATX power supply on the ground, an installation option for the HDD brackets and pump mountings as well as the assembly of the SSDs.

The lower chamber can also be used to install a power supply – in this case a small plate is removed at the rear. Of particular interest, however, is the bottom of the chamber where a 420 or 480 mm radiator can be installed, as well as the intermediate floor of the main chamber to the lower chamber. This can record a mini ITX motherboard after some simple handgrips!

Modular Big-Tower with high functionality – The Enthoo Elite

The main chamber of the Enthoo Elite offers many interesting features and can hold mainboards up to the E-ATX standard. One of the special features of the Big-Tower is, among other things, the possibility to mount the graphics card vertically – for this too, only a few simple hand-grips are necessary. This makes it possible to throw a glance at the cool design (or the WaKü block) of the graphics card through the large tempered glass window. Depending on the desired distance, four PCI screens are available after the conversion and a PCIe riser cable is included in the Big Tower.

Around the mainboard around numerous rubberized bushings provide the possibility for a clean laying of the cables. The area to the right of the mainboard, when you look through the window, can be used to install SSDs, HDDs or compensating tanks (via optional accessories). If none of these options are selected, this area can be clad with four enclosed covers!

Extreme full tower for high-end hardware

As a big tower or full tower, the Enthoo Elite can capture an impressive arsenal of potent gaming hardware. Due to the generous proportions, several graphics cards can be installed without any restrictions if the area next to the mainboard is not planned for other components. For the Mini-ITX system, which can be installed on the intermediate floor, a maximum of one pixel accelerator with a two-slot high cooler design should be selected.

CPU heatsinks on the primary motherboard may be up to 210 mm high, while the secondary mini ITX system is dependent on the amount of CPU cooler used by the graphics card being used. The maximum length of the power supply is also not restricted, with two ATX power supplies in the case. For the use of two systems with only one power supply, the Enthoo Elite has a bracket for mounting the Phanteks Power Splitters.

Predestined for custom water cooling: the Phanteks Enthoo Elite

A maximum of 17 120 mm fans or 14 140 fans ensure the cooling of the hardware – plus three fan slots in the floor of the tower. Two fans can be installed at the rear, while four 120 or 140 fans can be installed in the front. The lid, the floor and the intermediate floor each hold four 120 mm or three 140 mm fans. Just five pre-installed fans ensure good airflow and as a special feature three 120 fans or two 140 mm fans can be installed next to the mainboard tray.

With the possibility of accommodating four 480 mm radiators (!), The Phanteks Enthoo Elite is predestined for custom water cooling systems. In addition to these mounting positions for radiators, the case also features two enclosed mounting plates for pumps as well as several options for the installation of large compensating tanks. For the installation of a radiator next to the mainboard is an additional bracket, with which a corresponding radiator lying on the back can be installed lying.

RGB LEDs, USB 3.1 Type C & Front HDMI

In addition to its excellent support for hardware and WaKü components, the Phanteks Enthoo Elite can also convince visually completely. The exterior features elegant, brushed aluminum and a large side panel of hard-glass, which can be opened like a door thanks to two hinges. This facilitates, among other things, access to the mountable drive bay for 5.25-inch drives, and the hard-glass side section can be easily removed without tools for installation.

The I / O panel is hidden behind a flap and the power button is located on the lid. The Enthoo Elite sets new standards with front-end HDMI for the connection of VR glasses and a USB 3.1 type C-port. Four additional USB 3.0 ports, four audio ports and a RGB LED control complete the good range of connections. The RGB LEDs control the towers LEDs, which are located at the upper right edge, the front right and bottom edges, and the lower edge of the left side panel.

As a small highlight, the towers LED lighting can be synchronized with compatible mainboards and optional RGB strips from Phanteks. Supported mainboards include main boards with RGB LED headers and MSIs Mystic Light Sync feature, or ASUSs Aura Sync feature.

As part of the Enthoo Elite modular concept, the Big Tower has removable covers in the lid and the right side panel, allowing configuration for silent operation or maximum performance. Many accessories are included in the housing and the hardware is partly assembled without tools. For cable management, there are several hook-and-loop fasteners in the tower, two PWM hubs facilitate the control of the fans, and several dust filters are easy to clean. The Enthoo Elite is delivered in a flightcase.
