The NH-L9x65 is higher and therefore more powerful version of Noctuas award-winning low profile coolers Series NH-L9. With 65 instead of 37 mm height and four heatpipes instead of two of the NH-L9x65 provides significantly more power reserves than his lower sister models, but retains its footprint of just 95 x 95 mm.
This is Intel-based ITX mainboards, the wholly-owned compatibility guaranteed to RAM and PCI Express expansion cards and the cooler does not block nearby the base connections. Thanks to the perfectly optimized premium fan-type NF-A9x14 with PWM support for automatic speed control with compatible motherboards the Noctua NH-L9x65 remains remarkably quiet in operation.
