Thanks to the specially developed AAO frame (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) and the seven rotor blades with A-Series blade geometry and Flow Acceleration Channels, it delivers impressive values while running quietly at the same time. At a maximum of 2,200 rpm and a maximum of 17.7 dB(A) , the fan is whisper-quiet and scoops 55.5 m³/h of air.

The further developed SSO2 premium bearingguarantees quiet operation and a long service life. Because of the PWM functionality, its speed can be regulated directly from the mainboard. A PWM control chip NE-FD1 developed by Noctua is used here. This allows the fan to work very quietly and energy-efficiently, especially in the lowest speed range. In addition, the fan has exchangeable anti-vibration pads made of silicone on the corners to minimize noise.
