The Lian Li LANCOOL 205M Mesh in detail
The LANCOOL 205M Mesh from Lian Li is optimized for airflow and comes with two integrated ARGB front fans ex works. The manufacturer hereby sets the basis for every gaming computer that focuses on cooling performance. The housing consists of a sturdy steel construction with a completely removable front cover and a side panel made of tempered glass. The front and the lid are made entirely of mesh. The high air permeability benefits the cooling of your components.
LANCOOL 205M Mesh: Cool, cooler, LANCOOL
Both old-school air cooler advocates and water cooling enthusiasts will get their moneys worth with this case: The LANCOOL 205M Mesh offers options for installing a total of five fans. Two 140 mm ARGB PWM fans are already pre-installed in the front, and two 120 mm fans can be retrofitted in the lid. There is still space for another 120 fan on the back. The height of the CPU cooler is limited to a maximum of 160 mm.
Lian Li has also catered for fans of AiOs or custom water cooling systems. 240 radiators can be mounted on the front and in the lid. Removable brackets make installation for radiators and fans easier.
With the use of so much mesh area, a lot of air gets out and into the case. To ensure the long-term effectiveness of your cooling and to make cleaning your fans easier, there are additional dust filters in the base and lid. You can easily remove, clean and reinsert them.
Space for drives and I/O panel
The interior offers plenty of space for powerful hardware, such as mATX motherboards and high-performance gaming graphics cards with a length of up to 350 mm. Two 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on appropriate brackets on the back of the motherboard tray.
Under the power supply cover of the LANCOOL 205M Mesh there is a drive cage for two 3.5-inch hard drives or a 3.5-inch and a 2.5-inch drive. Behind it there is space for an ATX power supply with a depth of up to 180 mm. The I/O panel of the LANCOOL 205M Mesh offers two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and two 3.5 mm jack sockets for headphones and microphones.
