With the LANCOOL 216, housing specialist Lian Li offers a modern and functional midi tower with an attractive price-performance ratio. The housing is based on a sturdy steel construction with a completely removable front cover. The side panel made of tempered glass provides a view of the inside of the case so that the installed hardware can be admired.

LANCOOL 216 RGB: Housing for air and complete water cooling
Thanks to the excellent cooling properties of the LANCOOL 216 RGB, high-performance gaming PCs can develop their full performance. The PC case offers options for installing a total of ten fans. Three 120 mm or two 140 mm case fans can be attached to the front and the lid. 160 mm fans also fit on the front of the case and a 120 or 140 mm fan can be installed on the back wall.

In air cooling mode, two 120 or 140 mm case fans also fit on the power supply cover. A new feature of the LANCOOL 216 is the PCIe fan bracket, with which a 120 mm fan can be positioned in front of the expansion slots in order to transport the waste heat from the graphics card out of the case.

Water cooling in the LANCOOL 216 RGB
The interior of the LANCOOL 216 RGB can be optimized for installing radiators by rotating the frame for the I/O cover. This means the mainboard sits lower and there is more space for the radiator and fan above the mainboard. 360 or 280 radiators can be attached to the front and the housing cover (water cooling mode). There is space for a 240 mm radiator on the power supply cover – only in air cooling mode.

Two 160 mm RGB fans in the front and a 140 mm PWM fan on the back are pre-installed ex works and ensure a high air throughput. The front fans are mounted on the outside so that they can be used to cool a radiator. The mounting screws for the radiator and fans do not get in the way.

Chic and functional design
The LANCOOL 216 RGB was specifically designed with a view to cooling powerful hardware and offers numerous air inlets: The front cover is mainly made of air-permeable mesh. The back, the lid and the case base also have generous ventilation openings. The lid is equipped with a magnetic dust filter, the dust filter is located under the power supply in a slot. This means that all filters are removable and can be easily cleaned. The side panels are attached with knurled screws, which allows the housing to be opened without tools.

LANCOOL 216: Lots of space for components and drives
The all-white interior of the LANCOOL 216 RGB offers plenty of space for powerful hardware, meaning E-ATX mainboards up to 280 mm wide and high-performance gaming graphics cards up to 392 mm long can be installed. The 7 expansion slots are housed in a modular bracket and rotate 90 degrees so the graphics card can be installed vertically (using a separately available riser cable).

Two separate carriers for 2.5-inch SSDs are provided on the back of the motherboard tray. Under the power supply cover of the LANCOOL 216 there is a drive cage for two 2.5 or 3.5 inch drives. There is space for an ATX power supply with a depth of up to 220 mm behind the cage. The I/O panel of the midi tower offers a USB-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a combined 3.5 mm jack socket for headsets. The RGB lighting can also be controlled via a switch.
