Details
The adapter is simply plugged into a free M.2 slot, extending each compatible laptop or PC to fast Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The built-in Intel 9462 chipset enables transmission in the 2.4 and 5GHz range and supports the new 802.11ax standard. It achieves transmission speeds of up to 433 Mb / s (5 GHz). In addition to MU-MIMO (Multi-User MIMO), the dual-band Wireless-AC 9462 module also supports Intel Wireless Display.
The Intel Dual-Band Wireless AC 9462 module is also backwards compatible with many common wireless LAN standards: IEEE 802.11 a / b / g / n. Current encryption techniques such as WEP (64-bit and 128-bit) or WPA / WPA2 ensure high security.
