This performance DDR4 memory clocks at 2.133 MHz at 1.2 volts during normal operation. With the automatically set XMP 2.0 profiles or by means of manual configuration, these Trident Z Royal modules, in combination with a compatible mainboard, achieve performance values of up to 4,000 MHz at 1.40 volts and tested latencies of CL18-22-22- 42.
The DDR4 modules have black PCBs, which in this version are surrounded by elegant heat spreaders. On the side, G.Skill relies on silver-colored coolers that are polished to a high gloss. The upper edge is made of acrylic glass with a crystalline structure, which is set in scene by RGB lighting.
The heat spreader is relatively low, with a total height of 44 millimeters, the Trident Z Royal fit under many expansive CPU coolers. Thanks to the heatspreader, this dual-channel kit with a total of 32 GB always stays cool. As proof of the high quality, G.Skill also grants a manufacturer guarantee of ten years.
