This performance DDR4 memory clocks at 2.133 MHz at 1.2 volts during normal operation. With the automatically set XMP 2.0 profiles or by means of manual configuration, the Trident Z in combination with a compatible mainboard achieve optimal performance values of up to 3,200 MHz clock at 1.35 volts and latencies of CL16-18-18-38.
The DDR4 modules have black PCBs, which in this version are surrounded by stylish heat spreaders. On the side, G.Skill relies on gray or black coolers in a brushed aluminum look, which are perfectly complemented by a kind of white bracket on the upper edge. The aluminum plates are relatively low and with a total height of 44 millimeters, the Trident Z fit under many expansive CPU coolers. Thanks to the heatspreader, this dual-channel kit with a total of 32 GB always stays cool. As proof of the high quality, G.Skill also grants an extremely long manufacturer warranty period of 10 years!
