Compact desktop smart card / ID card reader AXAGON CRE-SM3TC FlatReader with a USB 480 Mbps interface. It is particularly suitable as an ID card reader for use with mobile phones and computers that have a USB-C port. The reversible USB-C connector simplifies use, as you no longer need to align the connector correctly when connecting it to your phone or laptop.

The Plug & Play function allows immediate use without the need to install any drivers. For further use with the inserted card, simply install the corresponding application.

The reader is compatible with most national applications for eID (electronic ID cards).

The card reader supports all common contact smart cards, cards for identification systems, and other chip cards, including contact bank payment cards and contact electronic ID cards*. Compatibility with all common operating systems such as Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android enables wide application on computers and laptops, as well as phones and tablets.

The intelligent LED indicator lights up briefly after a change in activity, then goes out, and does not disturb the user with unnecessary light. The compact design, high-quality connector, non-slip pad, and sufficiently long cable ensure simple and trouble-free use.
