Upgrade your WaKü system with the LEAKSHIELD function from aqua computer. You can use this to make your aqualis and aquainlet 100/ 150 leak-proof. LEAKSHIELD actively prevents leaks and continuously monitors the coolant circuit for errors. LEAKSHIELD replaces the cap and must be mounted at the top of the upright reservoir!
The function of the LEAKSHIELDS
What does LEAKSHIELD do? It creates a vacuum in the entire cooling system. This means that as soon as there is a leak, no coolant escapes. Instead, air is sucked into the system there. To ensure that there is a vacuum at every point in the circuit, you will need to adjust the vacuum depending on your coolant pump.
Any air that enters is pumped out of the system via the integrated vacuum pump of the LEAKSHIELD and the negative pressure is maintained. Only in the case of very large leaks, such as a completely torn hose, can coolant escape.
You have everything in view at all times
All status and sensor data are shown on the OLED display. The display can be rotated 360 degrees. The integrated, digital RGB LEDs serve various functions: you can set them so that the colors show you the status of the pump or you can customize them to your liking.
Via the USB interface of LEAKSHIELD and the aquasuite software you can check all data on the PC or control the leakage protection system instead of the display.
Attention: If you steer in the wrong direction or something goes wrong, a signal will alert you – it will also be shown on the display. In an emergency, LEAKSHIELD can force the PC to shut down!
Note: Check beforehand whether all your components are qualified for the vacuum process. Particularly soft, thin-walled hoses are not suitable!
