Akasa Apache PWM fan - 140mm, black

Whether its a case, cooler, fan or cable – Akasa has an extensive range of PC accessories and has been enriching the community with innovative and affordable products for many years. After the very successful fans in the Ultra Quiet series, Akasa is now expanding its range to include other models that combine design and function in an excellent way.

The Apache AH-64 is probably the most well-known combat helicopter and is one of the most modern weapons systems in the US Army. The helicopter now serves as the prominent namesake for an Akasa fan. After the eye-catching version with camouflage paint, this understated version in black follows.

The only difference between the two is the color scheme, so that both share an innovative construction that allows for quiet and at the same time high-performance operation. The fan blade design has been completely changed compared to its predecessors. The upper edge is no longer simply curved, but follows an S-line. This computer-optimized shape is said to increase airflow by an incredible 30 percent at the same speed.

In order to further reduce noise emissions, a new hydrodynamic bearing was developed that not only runs more quietly with less friction, but is also more durable. In addition, the ingress of dust has been reduced with the IP54 standard.

This is a 140 mm fan with a PWM connection. The Apache can therefore be controlled via the mainboard, provided it has a corresponding function. Speed, flow volume and volume can therefore be selected in a wide range and can ensure maximum cooling or extremely quiet operation depending on the situation. 151 m³/h are available at a maximum of 1,300 rpm and 12.5 dB(A) at a minimum of 600 rpm.
