Watercool Heatkiller IV Pro AMD - black copper

Since the launch of the first heatkiller CPU waterblock in 2001, Watercool has been steadily improving and optimizing the model range. The Heatkiller IV represents the most comprehensive development so far.

The biggest overhaul of its predecessors was the Heatkiller IVs cooling structure. Thanks to refined microfins, the cooling medium now has a significantly larger contact surface with the cooler, at which the heat transfer takes place. But the flow behavior was further optimized by enlarged nozzles. Compared to the predecessor model, the cooling performance could be increased by up to 3 degrees Celsius thanks to these improvements.

The flow also benefits from the optimization measures, especially since Watercool has integrated large-volume collection channels in the Heatkiller IV. The completely made of nickel-plated copper and optically very attractive designed water cooler has an impressive high-flow design, which makes him the perfect partner for low-performance pumps.

Easy construction
Incidentally, the new cooling structure of the Watercool Heatkiller IV, which is offered here in the high-end version Pro, does not require a nozzle plate. The waiver increases the passive failure safety of the cooler, since this concept can accumulate less dirt particles in the cooling structure. Also with the equipment a lot has happened.

The Heatkiller IV Pro has a comfortable easy-mount system. After initial installation, the processor cooler can be disassembled or mounted on Intel mainboards with the AMD sockets 939, 940, AM2, AM2 +, AM3, AM3 +, FM2, FM2 +, AM4 at any time without tools. Not even the motherboard needs to be upgraded. The mounting system specifies the contact forces. A faulty installation is almost impossible.

With its two G1 / 4-inch threads, the Heatkiller IV Pro Intel is compatible with all popular connector types, up to 19/13 and 16/10 mm OD / ID. The production of the Heatkiller IV takes place in a state-of-the-art CNC machine park at the German company location of Watercool.
