The goal is to supply the overclocker scene with high-performance thermal conduction products, which are still a weak point – but the product portfolio can also be used for better and quieter cooling of gaming computers, workstations, mini PCs and many other purposes. In addition to higher clock rates, better thermal conduction products enable quieter cooling and a longer service life for the components to be cooled.
In order to achieve these goals, Thermal Grizzly worked closely with the well-known extreme overclocker Roman der8auer Hartung during product development and tested them, developed chemical compositions and analyzed competitors. Now the first product lines have been completed, which also meet the highest demands of the manufacturer and the overclocking community.
The hydronaut thermal paste is – as its name suggests – particularly suitable for water cooling systems, but also feels very comfortable between a CPU and an air cooler, for example. With its low density and the silicone-free carrier structure, it is particularly suitable for achieving a low layer thickness and thus low temperatures in large-area applications. In contrast to many competing products, the Hydronaut thermal paste does not tend to harden and remains flexible.
The Hydronaut thermal paste comes as a 10 ml syringe with three applicators included. With the help of these applicators, a 27 x 27 mm area can be coated with an approximately 3 mm drop of paste, so the syringe is sufficient for around 30 applications – this of course depends on the individual application and skill.
