Combining an Ultra-High-Performance nickel-plated copper coldplate with a substantial nickel-plated brass housing, Schott BOROFLOAT® glass viewing window and integrated ARGB lighting, the DeltaMate delivers outstanding thermal performance with a distinctly premium appearance.

Designed specifically around the layout of modern AMD processors, its hybrid microfin structure provides targeted cooling over both the CPU’s CCDs and I/O die, while robust G1/4-inch ports and an optional magnetic cover complete a water block designed for uncompromising custom cooling systems.

Ultra-High-Performance hybrid coldplate

At the heart of the DeltaMate CPU Block – MPII AM5 is Thermal Grizzly’s Ultra-High-Performance coldplate, precision-machined from copper before being nickel-plated for a durable, premium finish.

Rather than using a uniform fin structure across the entire coldplate, Thermal Grizzly has developed a hybrid microfin layout specifically around the architecture of AMD AM5 processors.

Directly above the CPU’s CCDs are 25 extremely fine cooling fins, each featuring a 0.2 mm fin width and 0.2 mm slot width. The high density of these microfins creates a substantial surface area, allowing heat from the processor cores to be transferred efficiently into the coolant.

Above the I/O die, the structure changes to 29 fins with a width of 0.4 mm. This section is optimised for coolant distribution, helping to maintain effective flow across the complete coldplate while providing targeted cooling where it is needed most.

Solid brass construction

The DeltaMate is built around a substantial solid brass housing which is nickel-plated for durability and corrosion resistance. Combined with the nickel-plated copper coldplate, this gives the water block an exceptionally robust full-metal construction.

Its inlet and outlet use standard G1/4-inch threads and are offset towards the upper-right side of the housing. This positioning not only provides durable connection points for your fittings but also leaves the internal cooling structure clearly visible through the glass window.

Each G1/4-inch thread has a depth of 6 mm.

Schott BOROFLOAT® glass and ARGB lighting

A premium Schott BOROFLOAT® borosilicate glass viewing window provides a clear view of the DeltaMate’s internal structure while integrated addressable RGB lighting highlights the block from within.

The lighting connects directly to a compatible motherboard or RGB controller using a standard 3-pin 5V ARGB connection (+5V / Data / GND), allowing the water block to be synchronised with the rest of your system lighting.

Borosilicate glass refracts the integrated RGB illumination differently from conventional acrylic, creating a distinctive appearance around the viewing window. Following waterjet cutting, the edges of the Schott BOROFLOAT® glass are finished by hand to further enhance the effect.

Beyond appearance, borosilicate glass also offers excellent UV resistance, high scratch resistance and improved resistance to alcohol-based cleaning products compared with acrylic.

Two visual configurations

The DeltaMate CPU Block includes a black anodised aluminium cover which attaches magnetically to the water block.

This gives you the choice of two different visual configurations. Install the cover for a cleaner, more understated appearance that conceals the mounting hardware and screws, or remove it to expose more of the block’s full-metal construction.

AM5 and AM4 compatibility

While optimised for AMD’s AM5 platform, the DeltaMate CPU Block – MPII AM5 is also backwards compatible with socket AM4, making it suitable for a wide range of AMD systems.

It is also compatible with Thermal Grizzly’s AM5 High Performance Heatspreader for enthusiasts building particularly performance-focused cooling configurations.

Ready for installation

Thermal Grizzly includes TG Duronaut thermal paste along with the required mounting hardware and tools, providing the essential components needed to install the water block.

Each DeltaMate CPU Block is also supplied with a pressure test certificate for 1 bar. When installed in a custom cooling loop, Thermal Grizzly specifies a maximum operating pressure of 0.6 bar.
