This redundant power supply from Silverstone is specifically designed for use in servers and critical computing systems. In the 2U form factor housing, there are two chambers, each of which contains self-sufficient power supplies. This means that your device is reliably secured. In the event that one power supply fails, the second can step in without restrictions and keep your system running without interruption.
The power supply is designed for 24/7 operation – 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. With an output of 1,000 watts per chamber, you get enough buffers to protect your systems.
User-friendly, robust and durable
The housing is made of sturdy aluminum, which not only increases stability, but also helps to dissipate heat better. The average operating temperature is around 45 degrees C. The interior of this power supply is also impressive: Japanese electrolytic capacitors are used here, which increase the protection for overvoltage and short circuits.
In addition, the two power supplies are hot-swappable (replace during operation) – as long as a power supply remains connected and your hardware is supplied with
power. For the change, user-friendly handles are attached to the back so that the replacement can be carried out in a few seconds.
