The CPU cooler SST-AR09 from SilverStone is characterized by a particularly good price-performance ratio. It consists of an aluminum heat sink along with several copper heat pipes which, thanks to HDC technology (heat pipe direct contact), rest directly on the heat spreader of the processor and are therefore particularly good at dissipating its heat into the heat sink. The fan is attached to the side of the heat sink.

The SST-AR09 offered here is a compact CPU cooler with three heat pipes, each with a diameter of 6 mm and embedded in the base. These lie directly on the heatsink of the processor and transport the waste heat into the 66 mm high cooling block. This consists largely of aluminum fins and, when the fan is mounted, is at most 102 mm wide.

A 60 mm fan ensures a decent air flow of up to 47.4 m³/h at full speed of 5,000 rpm and causes 42.5 dB(A). Throttled by pulse width modulation, it can also operate very quietly when it scoops air at just 1,200 rpm with just 18.2 dB(A). Under full load, the cooler is suitable for processors with a TDP of up to 95 watts.
