With a height of 158 mm , the NH-U12S chromax.black is compact enough to easily fit in most modern tower cases. Due to the width of 125 mm (incl. fans and fan clips), the cooler does not protrude over the top PCIe slot on normal ATX or Micro-ATX mainboards, so that the best compatibility with SLI and CrossFire systems is guaranteed.
The NF-F12 PWM 120 mm fan delivers excellent cooling performance and amazingly quiet running with a flow rate of 93.4 m³/h at only 22.4 dB(A) . It supports PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the mainboard. In addition, the maximum speed of 1,500reduced to 1,200 rpm for even quieter operation.
For users who want to achieve even better performance with a second fan in push/pull mode, the NH-U12S chromax.black comes with special fan clips and an additional set of anti-vibration pads. These enable the rear fan to be offset by 5mm and thus achieve better acoustics in the optional double fan operation.
Chic stealth design with options
The special edition of the NH-U12S, the chromax.black edition , is completely black . This means that not only the radiator with its cooling towers has been coated black. The colors of the fans, the associated anti-vibration pads, the fan clips and the mounting material have also been adapted.
As a special highlight, the color of the NH-U12S chromax.black can be adjusted using optional accessories . With optional radiator covers and anti-vibration pads, many color combinations can be realized and popular color schemes such as black/white or black/red and many more can be achieved.
