Noctua NF-A12x25 LS-PWM fan - 120mm

The Noctua NF-A12x25 LS-PWM is a special version of the flagship model NF-A12x25 PWM and runs at a particularly low speed ex works. Thanks to aerodynamic design measures, it achieves impressive silent cooling performance. This is made possible, among other things, by the narrow impeller gap of just 0.5 mm. Equipped with a 4-pin PWM connection, the fan speed can be regulated and is between 450 and 1,200 revolutions per minute. The fan runs extremely quietly at a maximum of 12.1 dB(A) and still offers an air flow rate of up to 55.7 m³/h and a static pressure of 0.82 mmH2O.

Noctua NF-A12x25 LS-PWM: quiet 120mm fan
The NF-A12x25 LS-PWM runs at a reduced speed compared to the flagship model NF-A12x25 PWM and thus offers an exceptionally low volume development. The 120 mm fan rotates at 450 to 1,200 revolutions per minute and generates a volume flow of up to 55.7 m³/h. Nevertheless, the fan reaches an extremely low noise level of a maximum of 12.1 dB(A). Ideal for all silent fans and semi-passive systems!

One of the special features is the narrow impeller gap of only 0.5 mm. This allows extremely efficient operation with improved dynamic pressure, which is particularly noticeable on coolers and radiators. In combination with the included anti-vibration sealing lip, this leads to less leakage currents at the gap between rotor and frame. The rotor is made of Noctuas Sterrox liquid crystal polymer (LCP). This is particularly strong and has a low thermal expansion.

In addition, the hub area of the fan is reinforced with metal to improve stability. The impeller of the NF-A12x25 LS-PWM has so-called Flow Acceleration Channels on the suction sidefitted. These accelerate the air in the outdoor areas, improving efficiency and reducing noise. Airflow is further optimized by the stepped intake area and microstructure on the interior of the frame.

With the Smooth Commutation Drive 2, the NF-A12x25 LS-PWM has the latest drive system from Noctua, which reduces torque fluctuations and ensures smooth running. In order to achieve excellent long-term stability, Noctua has integrated SSO2 bearing technology.

Extensive accessories
Vibrations can be reduced with anti-vibration pads and Noctua supplies anti-vibration sealing lips for mounting on radiators. A low-noise adapter (LNA) is included as an additional accessory, which reduces the maximum speed to 900 rpm. If two fans are to be operated on one connection, this is easily possible thanks to a 4-pin Y cable. A practical 30 cm long cable extension for convenient cable routing completes the accessories.
