However, the models are not identical in construction and differ in particular in the materials used, which means that the replicas have a significantly shorter service life and are more susceptible to failure. The Laing DDC-1T / Plus PWM is an electronically commutated spherical motor pump. The durable construction of the rotor unit and wear-resistant ceramic ball ensure a long runtime of 50,000 hours – almost six years of continuous operation. The DDC-1T / Plus PWM has an extreme delivery head of 4.7m and pumps up to 600 litres per hour through the system. With this performance data, even large water cooling circuits with several radiators and heat sinks can be flooded without problems.
The DCC-1T / Plus PWM uses two plug connections for hoses with an inner diameter of 8mm. The power connection is made with a standard 4-pin Molex. To read out the Speed signal and for PWM control of the pump, it is connected to the mainboard or a fan controller via a 3-pin fan connector. The low overall height of the Laing pump also makes it much more flexible to install in various systems.
