Koolance QD3 No-Spill Quick Connect Female straight on 16/10mm

The QD series of quick release fasteners from Koolance enables the coolant circuit to be interrupted in a very simple and practical way by simply pressing down a metal ring. This is necessary above all where hoses or water cooling components integrated via them often have to be decoupled from the rest of the water cooling.

Think, for example, of an external radiator that you want to separate quickly and safely when transporting a PC so that it can be transported separately. Or a water cooling component that you change more often, be it for the joy of experimentation (CPU, chipset cooler) or because of regular upgrades (VGA cooler).

Two QD3 quick-release fasteners made of nickel-plated brass are connected to one another or separated from one another (one male, one female), whereby Koolance has developed valves which, as the name No-Spill suggests, are supposed to guarantee a certain freedom from leaks. It should be noted, however, that a one hundred percent immediate seal is not possible and up to 0.2 ml of liquid can escape.

This quick-release fastener is the straight female version with a hose connection via compression fitting, whereby the inner diameter can be 10 and the outer diameter 16 millimeters.
