The SSDNow A400 is a low-cost, yet very fast and reliable SSD that combines Phisons 2-channel low-power 2-channel controller S-11 with Toshibas advanced 15-nm TLC flash memory. This results in very good performance values: 500 MB / s for sequential reading and 450 MB / s for writing as well as a maximum of 95,000 / 85,000 IOPS (4KB random read / write). The SSDNow A400 consumes only 0.195 W in idle, 0.642 W in reading and 1.535 W in writing, which makes it – in addition to the low overall height Of only 7 mm – makes it ideal for use in notebooks. Kingston grants a warranty period of three years.
