Details
The expansion card can be used in any system with a free PCIe 3.1a x4 connection, but of course it also works in the corresponding PCIe x8 and x16 slots. There is an external USB 3.2 type-C connector on the card. This allows external USB devices with a particularly high bandwidth to be connected. In addition, the port supports fast charging, the required power is supplied via a SATA connection. A low-profile slot bracket is also included.
These new USB ports are twice as fast as USB 3.1 connections with a maximum achievable speed of 20 Gbit / s. Thanks to the use of the PCI Express interface, these very high data rates are no problem for the card and can be used to the full.
