The GIGABYTE B650M D3HP is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMDs Ryzen 7000 series processors and offers numerous features for gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and the expanded power supply, the 600 series motherboards use Socket AM5 (LGA 1718).

Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains identical to older sockets, allowing most CPU coolers for Socket AM4 to be installed on the motherboard.

The GIGABYTE B650M D3HP offers a 5+2 phase power supply, making it suitable for use with powerful Ryzen CPUs. The voltage converters and the M.2 slots are generously equipped with heatsinks. Thanks to Q-Flash Plus, the BIOS can be easily updated via USB flash drive.
