Cryorigs low-profile C1 CPU cooler uses six 6mm-thick sintered copper heatpipes that connect the nickel-plated copper bottom plate to the heatsink fins. The special feature is the design of the slats of the low-profile cooler. The cooling fins of the front area are 2.4 mm apart and the rear ones are only 1.8 mm apart. These different distances ensure an optimized output air flow. Cryorig calls it the Jet Fin Acceleration System. Thus, the heated air can be derived faster from the tower cooler. In addition, the heat pipes and fins are welded together in a special soldering process, so that there is ten percent more surface contact.
The Cryorig C1 comes with the slim XT140 fan. This fits the 74 mm high cooler in almost every ITX case. Under the fan remain 42 mm space for RAM modules. As an effective anti-vibration measure in the enclosed fan four rubber dampers are embedded in the corners. This dampens the vibration transmission of the fan to the slats. The fan itself has an exceptionally quiet bearing, so that the noise of the entire cooler at a quiet 44 dB (A). Thanks to its outstanding performance and efficiency, the twin-tower cooler is suitable for processors with up to 240 watts TDP (Thermal Design Power).
Especially clever is the easy assembly. The backplate is fixed by hand with knurled screws. Then come the support frame for the respective CPU, which is also fastened with knurled screws. With the enclosed screwdriver, the heat sink is then screwed tight. Thermal grease and a cloth to remove remains is included.
If you register your product with Cryorig, you can extend the manufacturers warranty from three to six years.
