The be quiet! Dark Rock TF 2 offers a cooling capacity of up to 230 watts TDP, which makes it suitable for high-performance desktop processors from Intel and AMDs portfolio. Six heat pipes made of copper with a diameter of 6 mm each, which lie directly on the CPU, ensure efficient heat dissipation. The heat pipes transfer the waste heat to the two cooling blocks with their numerous aluminum fins lying one above the other.
The fins are cooled by two 135 mm large Silent Wings (3) fans in push-pull operation. Thanks to the flow-optimized fan blades and PWM signal, the fans ensure the right balance between smoothness and performance. At maximum speed, the be quiet! Dark Rock TF 2 is still quiet with a volume of 27.1 dB (A). Compared to conventional tower coolers, the area around the CPU socket on the mainboard also benefits from the cooling airflow of the top-blow design.
The be quiet! Dark Rock TF 2 is completely black and has a matt black cover plate made of brushed aluminum. The design of the cooler ensures that the working memory banks are not covered and that this cooler works well in combination with RAM modules of any height. The assembly system of the 134 mm high CPU cooler is suitable for the Intel sockets 1200, 2066, 115X and 2011 (-3) as well as the AMD sockets AM4 and AM3 (+).
