Thanks to the integrated PL2303GT chip from Prolific, it supports all common UART protocols from 16C550 to 16C950 with an adjustable transmission rate from 75 bit/s to 1,000 kbit/s.
In addition to flow control, word length, parity or the COM port number from 1 to 256, the FIFO buffer can also be adjusted. The drivers required for this are installed automatically.
